Repeat Prescription Requests – Important Information

  • Please allow 7 full working days for the surgery to process your repeat prescription.

  • If you request something urgently, we’ll do our best, but same-day processing can’t be guaranteed.

 

  • Going on holiday?

    • Make sure to request your medication 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

    • Please use the Contact Us button on our website, rather than contacting the dispensary.

    • Urgent holiday requests may not be processed in time if enough notice isn’t given.

Dispensing Patients

You can usually obtain medicines from the dispensary if you live more than a mile ("as the crow flies") from a chemist, you are a temporary resident or you are unable to get to a chemist shop easily. Ask at the dispensary for details.

Holmwood Dispensary hours excluding bank holidays are:

Monday 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00
Tuesday 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00
Wednesday 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00
First Wednesday of every month 09.00 - 13.00
Thursday 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00
Friday 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00

Please allow 4 whole working days before collecting your prescriptions if you are a Dispensing patient.

Dispensing services are available at Holmwood Health Centre and Morland Surgery. 

Non Dispensing Patients

You collect your medicines from the pharmacy. The pharmacy located at each surgery is owned & run by an independent company called H A McParland Ltd who operate in a similar way to any other pharmacy on the high street.
