Assessment Waiting Times

Please note that NHS waiting lists for adult ADHD or autism assessments are currently very long. We recommend using the Right to Choose Scheme, which allows you to be referred to an NHS‑approved partner. The assessment will be funded by the NHS.

How to Access Providers

  • Refer to the table of providers.

  • Once you have chosen a provider, scroll down to find their logo.

  • Each logo contains a direct link to the provider’s website.

  • Download and print their referral requirements.

Important

Each provider has different requirements. Some may only need a referral form, while others may request a covering letter and a questionnaire. Please ensure you download, complete, and hand the necessary documents into the surgery.

ADHD medication must be initiated and monitored by a specialist.

Once a patient has been stable on a dose for 6 months following the last titration, prescribing may be considered for transfer to primary care under a shared care agreement (SCA).
