When We Are Closed
The out of hours service Hantsdoc is available for urgent medical treatment or advice which cannot wait until your own surgery is open. They can be contacted on 0118 936 5592
18:30 - 08:00 Monday to Friday and Friday 18.30 to Monday 08:00 with 24 hour cover on public holidays.
Your call would be answered by South Central Ambulance Service who will take your details and a nurse or doctor will telephone you back. If you are asked to attend the clinic the nearest location is the Fracture Clinic at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery
re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
